The Walker Family Tree

Glad to be born in the Walker Family Tree
So much love it made me feel free
Oldest of seven, and Dad wanted fifteen
Mom said no way to fifteen
Three girls and four boys were born
Dad and Mom worked hard all the time
Dad's philosophy was better to save a dime
Bad times when you have nothing in your prime
Money on hand makes it easier to get things
Dad and Mom prayed to be blessed in unity
With seven kids there were prayers for serenity
Home was St. Louis and the Midwest 's Arch
Willie Lee was the patriarch
Wife, Earline, was the matriarch
Linda, first born, was serious
She was a Mama's girl- polite and gracious
Willie Jr., second born, was nicknamed Brother
He was goodhearted and always giving to others
JoAnn as girl desired to be and succeed as a teacher
Her dedication and commitment was the same as a preacher
Jimmy was daring, wanted to lots of fun and had much love
Bobby James died early and became angel's dove
Brenda Fay was Miss Uptown and fashionable
Danny, babyboy, was steady, trustworthy, and dependable
Our Family Tree is notable
